Scientific Sue and the Magic of Dragons
Performance

Get ready for a journey like no other with Scientific Sue as she takes you on an incredible voyage of scientific discovery during Science Week! Invite your students to experience "The Science of Dragons," an exciting and educational show guaranteed to captivate young minds. Inspired by Cressida Cowell’s beloved "How to Train Your Dragon" series, this action-packed performance, led by the enthusiastic Scientific Sue, unlocks the hidden science behind dragon flight, fire, and the engineering challenges faced by Viking adventurers. Your students will delve into the fascinating world of dragonology, exploring colour-changing chemistry, explosive gases, and the secrets of fire-breathing.

Volunteers will assist Sue as she demonstrates how to create her very own dragon, Prince—an extraordinary creature with the magical ability to camouflage by consuming 'fire types' like corrosive slobber and acidic dandruff crystals. What vibrant colours will emerge from this fiery Viking experiment? This energetic show is designed to spark curiosity, foster critical thinking, and ignite a passion for science. "The Science of Dragons" is not just a performance; it’s an unforgettable educational adventure that will leave your students talking long after the show ends!
