Join us for a Marine Conservation Workshop with Seal Rescue Ireland. SRI is a charity that works to rescue, rehabilitate and release sick, injured and orphaned seal pups from across Ireland, as well as educating the public on how they can create a healthier environment for wild seal populations. In this workshop, families will learn about the types of seals in Ireland and their importance to the ecosystem. We will introduce the 6 main threats facing seals in the wild linked to human activity and teach the importance of conservation, hopefully inspiring everyone to take action to reduce these threats. We’ll conclude with a short tour of our centre to meet some of the seal pups in our care up close, learn about their rescue stories, and find out about how SRI helps them to get back home to the wild!
