Join us for a Marine Conservation Workshop with Seal Rescue Ireland. SRI is a charity that works to rescue, rehabilitate and release sick, injured and orphaned seal pups from across Ireland, as well as educating the public on how they can create a healthier environment for wild seal populations. In this workshop, children will have the opportunity to learn about the types of seals in Ireland and their importance to the ecosystem. While there are many threats facing seals in the wild linked to human activity, this workshop will highlight the impacts on marine mammals of Climate Change and Biodiversity Loss. Children will learn the importance of conservation and inspire them to take action to reduce these threats. Finally, the kids will have the chance to meet some of the seal pups in our care up close, learn about their rescue stories, and find out about how SRI helps them to get back home to the wild!
